Scott started in the optical business in 1995 , working with a true craftsman, who trained him in the art of making eyewear. Vantage Point Eyewear is all about customer service. We measure success by being able to customize eyewear for each individual based on their specific needs. We know that everyone is different, and that eyewear needs to be custom made for each individual. Knowing a client’s needs, their personality, and occupation goes a long way toward the proper creation of eyewear. We are opticians who have been taught the true art of making and fitting eyewear. About The Owner
Scott grew up in Rexburg, Idaho and in 1990 after graduating from Madison High School, moved to Twin Falls, Idaho. Stephanie grew up in a small town west of Twin Falls before meeting and marrying Scott. They lived for nearly 20 years in Twin Falls before returning to Scott’s roots in Rexburg five years ago to continue raising their family. They are the proud parents of one daughter and four adopted sons.
Scott started out working in a full-service eyewear lab and now has over 22 years of experience in the optical field. Being trained in a number of different optical stations has made for a wealth of knowledge that has become a great attribute and advantage for clientele. Scott is trained and specializes in the art of rimless glasses known as drill mounts. he also specializes in sunglasses, edging lenses, custom frames, tinting lenses and fitting and adjusting glasses just to name a few. With the new addition of vision test in the office, we are set to help even more people in the area.Scott and Stephanie bring a unique, and different business model and convenient service to the Rexburg area. Vantage Point Eyewear is focused on providing quality eyewear, aggressive pricing and a custom fit for each individual that fits their needs. Customer service is their number one priority. They not only want to provide you with the right look and style of glasses, but also give you excellent service and education to determine what’s best for you. After all, their motto is, “Eyewear from your point of view.”
They enjoy spending time as a family and all things outdoors. Scott thoroughly enjoys 4 wheeling and always enjoys the time in the mountains, especially with good friends! One of their favorite summer activities is the week they get to spend at a mountain lake with their family, upward of 55 to 60 of them. Yellowstone, Sun Valley and Utah are also some summer destinations they like to travel to.
They are always happiest when they get to serve other people and enjoy the relationships that they get to build each day.
